這句話 大概大家都知道 是出自於牛頓之口

但其實 是Joe Yoon 說的 ( http://0rz.net/5813G )

事實上

John of Salisbury於1159年就說：

"We are like dwarfs sitting on the shoulders of giants. We see more, and things

that are more distant, than they did, not because our sight is superior or

because we are taller than they, but because they raise us up, and by their

great stature add to ours."

而約翰先生勒 其實也是師從Bernard of Chartres低

"We are like dwarfs standing [or sitting] upon the shoulders of giants, and

so able to see more and see farther than the ancients."

不過勒.....其實其實更早之前 就有許多相似的說法了

總之 我想說的只是 很一般的common sense 有時候其實不是那麼一般

and 大牛哥也許不是想要沽名釣譽 但是被盛名所累

「匹夫無罪 懷璧其罪」 所以大牛哥的罪就是名氣太響亮了....

and 我沒見過巨人 我只見過 O'neal (從電視上...)

所以阿邦說的好：

"If I have scored more, it is by standing on the shoulder of giant O'neal."
